Rigorous and frequent third party testing is followed to ensure that the critical attributes of taste, color, potency, and purity consistently meet quality control specifications for making phytocannabionoid-rich finished products.
Full Spectrum Oil: In addition to CBD, full spectrum oil contains a wide range of cannabinoids naturally present in hemp, like CBN and CBL. It also contains the aromatic and beneficial terpenes such as mycerin and pinene. There is NO further refinement. Depending on the condition and what someone is looking to achieve, it can provide a greater effect than CBD alone as all the cannabinoids have been shown to work better together in what is known as the “entourage effect”.
To understand the ECS, we must first understand Homeostasis and what it is.
Homeostasis is your body working to keep everything in the right zone. Your body tries to keep your internal environment stable and optimal no matter what’s going on in the environment around you. Think of it as the gauges in your vehicle that tell the driver the operational status of the car. and if they are in the proper operation zone.
Just like electronics in a car, or an airplane, your body continuously monitors important levels and functions in your body. Hormone levels, heart rate, blood pressure etc.
When something is operating outside of the proper range, your body activates the ECS to help correct what is out of range. So when you’re really hot and begin to sweat, know that it is your ECS working to cool you down. When you are hungry and your stomach starts to growl, that’s your ECS helping remind you to eat because you need fuel.
The ECS does this using cannabinoid receptors found in select tissues. Humans have (at least) two types of cannabinoid receptors:
CB1 which is in the central nervous system (brain and nerves of the spinal cord)
CB2 which is in the peripheral nervous system, the digestive system, and specialized cells in the immune system
Using the CB1 and CB2 receptors, the ECS helps to regulate many important functions. These include appetite, digestion, immune function, mood, sleep, motor skills, memory, pain/pleasure/reward, and more
Your body activates the ECS with precision so that it only impacts what it needs. An example would be, if you heart rate is high, it will only try to balance that issue without affection for example your digestive or immune system,
Once the endocannabinoids have done their job and normalized your system, particular enzymes come along to break them down and prevent them from upsetting the balance in the opposite direction.
It is very precise response to the system.
Because cannabis products can stimulate activity of the ECS, they are certainly targets for potential treatments, and a ton of research is going on around the world. We also have medications made from synthetic (lab-created) cannabinoids.
